*** Important Note:  All Gas Caps are SECONDS, hence the low price. Finish ranges from poor to fair, as these were messed up when they went to nickel plating.  You can expect to see flaws in the finish such as runs, sandy looking spots, scratches, etc.

Go for it.

I bought three of these... they're sold as seconds with plating problems. Two of them, you could pretty much say they have no problems at all that would stand out on an antique bike. The third clearly has some of the issues they describe but I'm building a rider and not a show bike so it'll look just fine. They fit perfectly and seem to be exceptionally well made. All three have the knurling or ridges around the edge deeply tooled like the originals, and they look authentic.

These caps fit perfectly. They were advertised as seconds, blemishes etc.
I think they look great. No issues.
